Obituary for Bruce Alan Hoke

BRUCE ALAN HOKE, 66, of Springfield passed away Monday, February 12, 2018 at Southbrook Care Center. He was born August 16, 1951 in Springfield, the son of the late Albert Marley Jr. and Dorothy Ann (Fitzgerald) Hoke.

Bruce graduated from Northwestern High School in 1969 where he played both football and baseball. He was also a member of the National Honor Society. Bruce attended the University of Cincinnati and studied Engineering and was a member of ROTC.

Survivors include his sisters, Cheryl Hoke of Denton, Texas and Shannon (Doug) Harshman of Springfield; one brother, Barry Hoke of Springfield; nieces and nephews, Kristen (Ben), Cory (Kelly) and Jason (Jackie); great-nieces and great-nephews, Eli, Isaac, Marley, Reagan, Malachi, Ella, Brady, Kirsten, Lauren and Logan and two great great-nephews and a great great-niece, Able, Finnley and Olive. He was preceded in death by his nephew, Chris S. Hoke.

The family would like to thank the staff at Southbrook Care Center for their outstanding caring support while Bruce was a resident.

A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2018 from 3-4 pm in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME.

Memorial gifts may be made to Hospice of the Miami Valley.
