Obituary for Lois "June" Bajai

LOIS “JUNE” BAJAI, 90, of Springfield passed away peacefully in her residence at Miller Place Assisted Living in Centerville on Saturday, November 3rd, 2018. She was born in Louisville, Kentucky, the daughter of Floyd and Marie (Wilson) Fuller who preceded her in death. She was a lifelong member of First Christian Church where she made several cherished friendships. June retired from a clerical position at Navistar after more than 30 years of service. She enjoyed meeting for lunch with her former co-workers regularly following her retirement. June was an accomplished artist in her younger years, and her passion for drawing and painting continued well into her late eighties. June developed an appreciation for antiques and other home décor, and she turned this interest into a business by operating a booth for several years at Heart of Ohio Antique Center. She took immense pride in her home and yard, and was known to be quite the gardener. In her last decade, she spent countless hours creating jewelry that she often gave to friends as gifts. Her family and friends will remember June as fun-loving, outspoken, stubborn, well-dressed, constantly on-the-go, someone who never met a stranger, and mostly, a true blessing.

June is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Bajai; her beloved daughter, Melodye Limle, and three brothers: Wayne Fuller, Warren Fuller, and Wilson Fuller. She is survived by her granddaughter, Heather Blevins and her husband, Jason; grandson, Dustin DeWitt; two great-granddaughters: Madison and Emma Russell; special nephew and niece: Roger (Mary) Fuller and Wanda (Tom) Bray, as well as numerous other family members and friends.

A memorial service honoring June will be held on Thursday at 1:00 p.m. in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME, SPRINGFIELD with Pastor Brian Borton officiating. June’s family would like to thank the staff of Miller Farm Place Assisted Living for the loving care they provided June over the past fifteen months, as well as the team at Hospice of the Miami Valley for the compassion and kindness they displayed during her final days.
