LINDA S. CREW, 41, of Springfield passed away Saturday evening, May 11, 2013 in Springfield Regional Medical Center. She was born December 7, 1971 in Fall River, Massachusetts, the daughter of Clinton Callicoat and Shirley (Knisley) Morris.
She was a 1990 graduate of Northeastern High School. Linda started as a mortgage loan officer in 1992 and currently worked at Huntington Bank. She was a very proud and active sports mom who committed her life to her children and their many activities. She was an amazing person who touched many lives with her outgoing personality and contagious smile. Linda will be sadly missed by her beloved family and friends.
Survivors include her mother, Shirley (Dave) Morris of South Vienna; father, Clinton (Robin) Callicoat of Casstown; three children, Maddie, Macie and Kyle Crew and their father, Curt Crew all of Springfield; grandmother, Janice Knisley-Daniels of South Charleston; five sisters, Lisa (Chip) Truitt of Springfield, Barbie (Matt) Winterhoff of Springfield, Jeanne Malone of Terra Haute, Cassi Yohey of Urbana and Shannon Yohey of Urbana; four brothers, Curt Callicoat of Springfield, David Morris of Springfield, Jay Cotrell of Columbus; Kirk (Dawn) Massie of South Vienna; lifelong best friend, Rachel (Rob) Berkshire and children, Lane and Mara Andrus, Rob and Drew Berkshire all of Springfield; boyfriend, Matt Keplinger and his children, Taylor and Austin Keplinger all of Springfield; nieces and nephews, Cody, Jake, Linda Corynn and Josie Truitt, Trinity Winterhoff, Mallory (Gerrad) Wise, Chelsea Malone and Miranda Parks, Corbin Latham, David Bailey, Lilly Terry, Nevaeh Callicoat, Sarah Morris, Amanda and Emily Massie, Austin, Lexi and Allie May, Kendra, Justin, Evan and Emma Crew; one great nephew, Blake Arthur; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and a special cousin, Rochelle McKean of Reynoldsburg and special aunt, Barb Hicks-Castiaux of Xenia. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Curtis Callicoat, Irene Carapia and Marion Knisley.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Sunday, May 19, 2013 from 4-8 p.m. in the Vineyard Church of Northridge, 4650 Ridgewood Road East, Springfield.
Funeral services will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. in the church with Pastor Ben Ganson officiating.
Entombment will follow in the Rose Hill Mausoleum.
The family is being served by the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made at any Huntington Bank where the Linda Crew Memorial Fund has been established to help benefit Linda's children.
