DEBRA SUE "DEBBIE" WILSON, 48, of South Charleston died Tuesday afternoon, April 27, 2010 as the result of a traffic accident.
She was born in Springfield on September 3, 1961 the daughter of Paul A. and Patricia L. (Combs) Wilson.
Debbie was a graduate of Northeastern High School and Bluffton University. She taught sixth grade at South Vienna Middle School for over 20 years. She was a Wal-Mart Teacher of the Year Award recipient and was a Power of the Pen advisor. During her summers, she worked at the Clark County Fair office for many years.
Debbie is survived by her parents of South Charleston; two sisters, Diane Crisp and her husband, Randy of London and Brenda Wilson of South Charleston; a niece, Abigail Dunham and her husband, Aaron of London; and a nephew, Ryan Crisp of London.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 4-8 p.m. Friday in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME.
A service to celebrate Debbie's life will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in the High St. Church of the Nazarene with Rev. Bill Blain officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Debbie Wilson Glen Helen Memorial Scholarship Fund, c/o any Security National Bank Branch.
