Obituary for Sue Ann Tincher

Sue Ann Tincher, 79, of Springfield, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday August 5, 2017 in the Springfield Masonic Community. She was born May 8, 1938 in Springfield, Ohio, the daughter of Warren and Ruth (Haemmerle) Priest. She was a lifetime member of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, where she was active in the Altar Guild, Martha and Mary; Rainbow Tables, Vacation Bible School, Sunday School, Communion Assistant and was a lector on Sundays.

Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Steven and Jill Tincher of Springfield; three grandchildren, Derek (Dawn), Andrew, and Olivia; brother, Bill Priest of Tipp City; sister, Kay McClintock of Springfield; special niece, Connie McEowen of Troy; three step-brothers, David (Janice) Augustus, James (Linda) Augustus and Mike (Debbie) Augustus; two step-sisters, Pam Swaney and Sue (Paul) Menda; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bill L. “Moose” Tincher; step-brother, Richard Augustus.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 6 – 8 p.m. Thursday in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME, where funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday August 11, 2017 with Pastor John Pollock officiating. Burial will follow in Ferncliff Cemetery.
