Obituary for Jeffrey A. Nawman

Jeffrey A. Nawman, 62, of Urbana, died on Monday, June 19, 2017 in the Dayton VA Hospital. He was born on April 3, 1955, in Springfield, the son of the late Jack and Joretha (Cutshall) Nawman. He lived most of his life in Tremont City and graduated from Northwestern High School in 1973. He was skilled in injection molding and plastics and practiced his trade in several factories in the surrounding area. Jeff also enjoyed cooking and did so for several nursing care facilities. He was an avid Ohio State football fan, an experienced mushroom hunter, loved doing crossword puzzles, and listening to Reds games. He is survived by his daughter, Nicole Lynn Nawman of Urbana, son, Justin Alan Nawman of Worthington, sisters: Judy Baldwin of Urbana, Janet Watters of Springfield, Jackie (Fred) Niece of Urbana, and Jane Obrien of Springfield; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and his beloved dog, “Archie.” He was also preceded in death by his sister Jeanene Deady.

A memorial gathering of family and friends will be held on Wednesday, June 28, 2017, from 2-4:00 p.m. in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME. Burial of his urn will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Tremont City. Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society.
