Obituary for Glen Mark Trimble

Glen Mark Trimble, 73, of Springfield, went home to be with the Lord, on Sunday, August 5, 2018, in his home. He was born on January 28, 1945, in Manaus, Brazil, the son of the late Garnet and Fern (Sieger) Trimble. Mark and his beloved wife of 50 years, Beth (Ziegler) served as missionaries in Brazil for over 40 years. They were members of First Baptist Church in Wellington, Ohio, and attended Berea Bible Church while in Springfield. Mark graduated from Cedarville University in 1967, and later finished his graduate work, a Masters in Missions at Grace Theological Seminary in 1990. He is survived by his wife, five daughters: Kimberly Grace (David) Johnson of Arizona, Tiffany Glee (Jeff) Nelson of Springfield, Melany Gay (Elias) Trimble-Tiago of Brazil, Emily Garnet (Sancler) Trimble-Lopes of Brazil, and Amey Gem (Randy) Trimble Lisch of Beavercreek; twenty grandchildren, one great grandson, sister, Grace Ann (David) Kintner, and many nieces and nephews. A Celebration of his life and ministry will be held on Saturday, August 11, 2018, at 1:00 p.m. in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME. A gathering of family and friends will be held prior to the service from 12-1:00 p.m. Burial will be in the Ferncliff Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be sent to Faith Gospel Ministries, 526 St. Rd. 26 E. Building 1, Lafayette, IN 47905.
