Obituary for Garry D. Ault

GARRY D. AULT, 68, of Springfield, passed away Friday afternoon, September 8, 2017 at the V.A. Medical Center Hospice. He was born in Springfield on May 9, 1949, the son of the late Boyce A. “Pete” and Clara Jean (Kisling) Ault. Garry proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He retired from Cooper Industries following over 25 years of service. Garry loved his 2005 Mustang show car and attending car shows. He was a member of the Maiden Lane Church of God and F.O.E. Aerie 397. He was an avid Ohio State fan and excelled at many hobbies.

He is survived by his wife, Patsy C. (Crum) Ault; son, Garry D. (Crystal) Ault II; daughter, Tamara (Michael) Gabriel; step-daughters, Veronica L. (Kevin) Donaldson and Tina M. Payton; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a sister, Linda (Larry) Pack; a brother, Boyce Dennis (Dorothy) Ault; and numerous niece and nephews, including a special niece and nephew, Tina Burrows and Todd Grimm.

Garry’s funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Mark Martin officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Entombment with military honors will be in Rose Hill Mausoleum.
