Obituary for Eldon L. Wollum

Eldon L. Wollum, 90, of Springfield, passed away on Wednesday, June 14, 2017 in the Ohio Masonic Home. He was born on February 19, 1927, in Clark County, Ohio, the son of the late William A. and Charlotte M. (Pencil) Wollum. He served our country during WWII in the United States Navy. He retired from London Correctional Facility. Eldon enjoyed riding motorcycles with the Hallelujah Riders Motorcycle Club and racing cars with Jack Bowsher. Eldon was a member of the Enon Church of God. He is survived by his children: Mike (Karen) Wollum of Springfield and Charlotte Ann Wollum of Springfield; sister, Janice (Dale) Kerr and Reverend Sam (Imogene) Wollum, and Dale M. Wollum of Lynx; two grandsons: Jeremy and Mikey; great granddaughter, Lydia Carson, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister Esther Rickabaugh.

A celebration of his life will be held on Tuesday, June 20th at 1:00 p.m. in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Dan Fiorini officiating. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 12-1:00 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will follow with military honors at the Glen Haven Memorial Garden.
