Obituary for Charles A. "Chuck" Hall

CHARLES A. “CHUCK” HALL JR., 56, of Lake Stevens, Washington, passed away peacefully in his sleep on April 17, 2018.

Charlie, as he was known to his friends, lived most of his adult life in Lake Stevens. He worked as an IT Specialist for Compass Health. He was an avid outdoorsman and spent the last weekend of his life hiking and zip-lining with his friends.

Chuck, as he was known to his family, was born in Springfield on June 16, 1961, the son of Charles A. and Alice M. (Scaggs) Hall Sr. He was a 1979 graduate of Kenton Ridge High School and JVS. Although Chuck spent most of his adult life in Washington, he came home to Springfield every chance he was able. The annual Hall reunion was an event he never missed. His first stop, when he arrived in Springfield, was always for Schuler’s doughnuts.

Chuck is survived by his parents of Springfield; brother, Jerry Hall of Wilmington, North Carolina; two sisters, Linda (Robert) Dover and Cindy (Mark) Rauch, both of Springfield; a niece, Courtney Dover; three nephews, Kenton Dover and Corey and Connor Wyckoff; and many aunts, uncles and cousins too numerous to mention.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 3:00-5:00 p.m. Wednesday in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME. A celebration of Chuck’s life will immediately follow at 5:00 p.m. He will be laid to rest at a later date in Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Mingo, Ohio.
