Holiday Hope is a gathering we hold at the funeral home for the families of the deceased. We have a program with a guest speaker that speaks to the families about their grief and coping with the loss through the holidays. Each family member receives a Christmas ornament and we call the names of the deceased and the family members take the ornament up to our tree and hang it. Then we share refreshments and visit with the families. The staff is also introduced at these programs. We feel this is very helpful for people that are dealing with grief.
